Happy St Patricks Day!
I just had to share this picture I took last August while I was in NYC with hubby. We were in a cab and I managed to quickly take this shot while sitting at a stop light. Keep in mind that this was AUGUST, not March, and this guy was no more than 5 foot tall on a good day. I could hardly believe my eyes and hubby just laughed and said "Really, where else would you see a leprechaun waiting for a bus and not think it's in the least bit strange, only in New York City" Happy St Patty's Day!

We wanna be like you, we wanna be so cool....
What an AWESOME show!!!!! Saving Abel was much better than expected. Their song 18 Days is pretty cool but it was the one or the two songs I knew by them.
Seether was incredible! They were my main reason for going to the show. They played Burrito, Gasoline, Fine Again, Breakdown, Broken, Careless Whisper, Rise Above this, FMLYHM, Fake It and Remedy. All great songs and some of my favorites. Took some video on the camera phone but it isn't that great so I will share this instead....very cool video
Oh yeah, Nickelback was there too! Sorry, got all caught up in the greasy mechanic that is Shaun Morgan (love you John). Nickelback had some really, really cool pyro. They had these flames that changed from a deep red to a cool blue. They put on a great and entertaining show. They played a really long set almost 2 hours and played the hits. Sharon and I came to the conclusion that they might just be the Poison of the new millennium, cheesy lyrics about partying and girls. But it's all good. Think the best part of their set was when Shaun of Seether joined them on a cover of Filter's Hey Man Nice Shot. Got home very late but so worth it. Still has me smiling.
A really super cool honor came this week as well. Remember my birthday cake?Well, I sent the picture to the fan section of the hoops and yoyo web site and it is the photo of the week this week!!!! Hoops and Yoyo go to fanFun and then Photo of the Week
Just wanted to give you a quick show review and spread the cool cake news!

I was dreaming when I wrote this,so forgive me if it goes astray
Time changed this weekend! Love the sunlight at the end of the day, hate that I lost an hour and have been messed up all day.
It's been a busy couple weeks. Hubby is back to work (yeah!) I do miss him a lot. I just got use to him just being here and now he's off and running. I've been trying to keep myself busy so I can't miss him too much.
After over a year or more the local craft store finally had a sale on plastic canvas. A sale so good that everyone came out of the wood work and bought it all up before I even knew about it. I did manage to get my hands on some at the competition's store because they honor each others sale prices. So I picked up a few sheets.........96 to be exact. It should keep me busy for a while. And I have been keeping myself busy with these little gems. I designed the patterns a few weeks ago while I was hanging out with hubby in the wee hours of the morning. I am very happy with them and have already gotten orders for both teams.
So needless to say it has been a busy and exciting week or so. This week should be no different. Starting it off right by going to see Seether and Nickelback in concert tomorrow night with my favorite SIL. Be assured there will be a full report.....ok maybe not a full report, have to protect the innocent.

I am really proud of them. I was hoping to get more done this weekend on them but we had an emergency phone call........a family friend had a baby girl this evening. She was scheduled for a C-section on the 23rd but her water broke and she call us to keep an eye on Alex, you remember him don't you? Well, now he is a big brother. Mom, baby, dad and big brother are all doing well.
